I'm so glad to hear that you were able to enjoy your birthday after all. :) Adding new songs is always nice. Me, I'm probably one of the last people in our age group that hasn't bought anything from iTunes. I prefer having the physical copy of something in my hand; I need the CD.
Didn't I tell you that Black/White is awesome? Yeah, this game definitely had my favorite story out of the two I've played, much more so than SoulSilver.

Well, if you'll remember correctly, I did warn you about those spiders. ;) Yeah, OoT also has an amazing story. You'll be blown away by it. I didn't think of it as Indiana Jones, but you have a good point there. XD
I actually prefer physical copies, too, but with the Monkees, the rereleased albums, which are easily available, don't have the bonus tracks. So I did opt for iTunes this time. Also, their Justus album is out of print, so iTunes was the only way to get those tracks. No regrets--Justus has some *wonderful* songs, including my favorite Monkees song, "You and I."
I think I'll love HeartGold/SoulSilver more because of nostalgia, but Black/White is *awesome* so far. I just wish that level-grinding was easier...

He gained a level in the gym on the way to Maylene; he OHKO'd her Meditite and Machoke with Aerial Ace, and OHKO'd her Lucario with Close Combat--they were all supereffective moves.

Eh, well, I've already gotten the tracks I wanted, so too late now. XD;
Do you think GameFreak/Nintendo will follow precedence and make a re-release of the third generation, this generation? Oh, there will be Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remakes--it was announced months ago that they "want to do something special for the Hoenn games," and that's all they're teasing us with for now. They're focusing on Black 2 & White 2 for the moment, but I expect attention will be focused on the Hoenn remakes next year, after the hoopla for B2/W2 wears off a bit (the Johto remakes, HeartGold and SoulSilver, came after Platinum, after all).
So far, the game and manga versions for Ages are VERY different. Well, the basic story is the same, actually. Veran definitely is more cruel in the manga, which is good for my muse.
