No Love for Celga

Dear Celga,
You had completely forgotten one of my auctions in the past, and though I didn't complain, I was really disappointed I lost (what WOULD have been) a cheap auction because of your negligence. But I can't be quiet about this one. I waited for the release of Plus Alpha 2 since June, and waited even more impatiently over the past few months ( Read more... )

I'd definitely complain to them this time. If they're starting to make a habit of this, telling them will most likely decrease chances of it happening in the future. Plus, they might reimburse you.

If you can't find it again on Yahoo Japan Auctions, I'll definitely do my best to find it here for you! Don't worry about imposing on me or anything. I go shopping for doujin all the time anyway, hee hee. I hope I can find it at the Luke-only event, as that'd be the easiest way to get it.

I understand, though, I hate it when stuff like that happens x_x

*nod* I told them after my morning classes earlier today. They sent back an apology along with some excuses to what could've happened... They said either 1) The auction ended early or 2) The seller removed their bid.

I've been really excited for this auction, and checked it on a twice-a-day basis. XD At no time did I see any bids, and I know the auction didn't end early so that rules out at least one of those.

Thank you so much again for offering! *hugs* Since most of those artists will be at the Luke-Only event, I imagine one of them just might be selling it... And if I do end up winning an auction and you also found one, I'll still be more than happy to pay for the copy you bought (that way, I can give it to my kuzu. <3 She's the one I bought Plus Alpha 1 from you for. XD ).

I would look into switching over to another service such as Shoppingmalljapan.com. I've been using them for countless years and have never had a problem. You also do all the bidding yourself via their automatic bidding system, which is the best part.

I'll definitely look into that, thank you!
For now though, I have to stick with Celga until I can find Plus Alpha 2 again. I had already boughten three doujinshi through them and I'm waiting to ship them all together. I don't have a lot of money, so I'd rather not pay for international shipping twice if I can avoid it. XD

D: Okay, that's just... argh ~~;;

Even if they probably did just make a stupid mistake on their part, I'd bring it to their attention. D: If they value you as a customer, they should do something about it.

I guess all I can do now is be thankful that no one DID bid on the auction.... .__. But now I have to wait for it to end again and worry that someone will outbid me or I'll have to pay MUCH more.

I've had Celga just completely neglect my auction request, and I stopped using them ever since. Granted, the auctions ended within less then 20 hours when I emailed them. :x Anyway, I use otaku-ya now, and have been happy with getting everything I ever wanted. The turnaround time can be a tad slow, and their website is a little sketchy, but I've had absolutely no problems with them. And I can email them with less than 6 hours of an auction to go at 6am in the morning, and they'll bid on it within the hour. *hearts to otaku-ya*
