There was a time when I was looking forward to the proliferation of the Internet to less-technically-savvy populations. I regret that time completely every single moment of my life now.

I'm sorry she's a widow and a senior, but that's no excuse for being an idiot -- I'm sorry, "confused." I'm trying to figure out what she wants you to do -- say, "Oh, no, I got the DVD, it's right here *waving empty hand*" or just fill out the Legal Mercy Form or what. It seems that the rectification for this particular issue is for Other Trader to send the frickin' DVD already. Which she's already done (?).

I don't see that you have any options here, and I imagine hers are limited based on what she finally decides she did with the DVD. Not your fault.

It did seem rather like a "duh" moment to me when she asked for the fourth time what to do. I want DVD. Send DVD.

She used Swaptree's special shipping label which has a barcode that the USPS can track. Mysteriously enough, the USPS has no record of receiving the item. Hmm. Gee. I wonder why. I looked back over her feedback more carefully, and this isn't the first time she hasn't traded the item she said she had. The other people, strangely enough, gave her neutral or positive feedback.

Guess when she gets tired of her account being locked up and not being able to make any more trades, she might do something.

Overall, I really like Swaptree.People like this, though...*sigh*

That sucks. Seems like you were pretty clear. I have a lot of trouble thinking she's that "confused," as opposed to having been able to work the scam up to this point.
