I just love the body language in that last image. Tim's little smile, and the way he's oh-so-slightly leaning into it. Timmy goes from cerebral and analytical (and living in denial-world) to shy boy in 0.6 seconds...

Isn't he pretty? Tony Daniel posted some preview sketches on his website a few months ago -- the finished versions of both that icon and this one ::points up:: appear in Teen Titans 34 If you want to use them, feel free!

Thanks so much for posting these.

Ah yes, I remember Tim's insecurities about not being good enough or just not being enough like Dick. Sigh, I long for the days when those were among the main things Tim had to angst about.

I wish all the different books could get together and figure out Tim's thoughts on the future. Wasn't there a scene in Young Justice where Tim tells everybody he'd be glad to retire 'cause that would mean there was Peace on Earth? I guess I took that to mean he was in the hero business for the duration, it's been a while maybe I'm remembering it wrong.

Oh, and Dick is wonderful as always. Do you think he made that sandwich, or does Alfred send him food?
