Thanks so much for posting these! It's such a trip down nostalgia lane. I remember not caring much for a lot of the artwork around this time, but Jim Balent's stuff was memorable. A lot of T&A as far as Catwoman went, but pretty and nicely stylized T&A, I thought...
I love how Tim makes sure to mentally pat himself on the back when he does something well, and reminds himself to focus when he gets off-topic. He's practically his own side-kick.
I also like the choice of topic, because Tim was always escaping or contributing to his escape when captured. It was so important to him to establish a reputation of competence, not only because it was simply a good thing for a Robin to be, but also because he knew that it was the only thing that made Batman allow himself to even have a Robin anymore.
Yes, Tim as competent sidekick and fledgling solo hero learning the ropes (no pun intended) was always fun to see, and that being Batman's weak spot was NEVER going to happen if he had anything to do with it (and to his credit, it rarely was)
