While that is indeed a very nice Nightwing and Robin in peril, I find the insufficient rope work distracting.

Actually, the original piece it's based on had no ropes at all, it's a masterpiece of implied tying. And given that it's the Joker, I'm sure that that's the least of their problems, something akin to Uncie Joker having them both sit on explosive whoopee cushions tied in to the OTHER chair, so the moment one of them makes a move, the other gets blown sky high. Dick is praying that Tim, for once, was able to resist Alfred's bean-dip and is already regretting that burrito he had for supper!
