The only sources of TV news you need are The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.

Amen--as long as you add Countdown on MSNBC, and any additional commentary Keith Olbermann does.

It's a sad state of affairs when the Comedy network brings us better news than the actual news outlets.

I try to avoid anything with "Microsoft" in the name. Imagine my despair when their logo started showing up on Crimson Skies suppliments.

I don't generally watch any of the real news networks. The exception was when I was in a diner recently, and watched Fox News for an hour: it was really appalling, but it made the Daily Show funnier.

Oh God. I know what you mean about consumer news. CityTV is the worst for it.

CityTV is a lightweight... eyebeams September 27 2006, 16:54:13 UTC
HAH - CityTV's got nothing on CNN or local americain news channels.
I switch quickly from any of the local american feeds (Seattle's KIRO is the worst) to City TV just to get a break from thier over-hyped "look someone died, we interview everyone who might have known them at 10!!" crap.

CBC, CTV, BBC international if you can find it, CityTV and of course the Daily Show. CNN is just a waste of your time & brain cells.
