He'd encountered a good deal of people that day, if only to be motioned aside or eyed briefly for his manner. But the girl that was there with her Pokémon intrigued him, if only because she had been the only one to address him- speak to him as a person. It was unnerving. And yet, he watched as the people had left, and then caught sight of the girl.
And he followed her, strange enough as it was. Keeping quite a distance behind, but just enough to see her at the edge of his horizon.
He's currently crouched a distance away, watching her, body tense though he'd hid at least a bit decently. Her face is scrunched, and Zeke's is, too, though more in thought and confusion than anything. She'd been so unlike this before. Strange.

Keeping her eyes closed for a while, she swallows hard, completely consumed by her thoughts. Her hand reaches out, lightly stroking Hahani's back. After a good few minutes, she opens her eyes and stretches her neck out a bit.
She still doesn't seem to notice that Zeke is there; Or at least, she doesn't until she turns her head in his direction. She sees the outline of a figure, squinting curiously. He's definitely familiar, from what she could see. But she finds herself unable to get a clear enough look at Zeke to place him.
But why is he just watching her? She wasn't going to deny that it weirded her out plenty. Katie isn't in the mood to pick a fight though, simply leaning back against the tree and bringing a hand to her face, rubbing her forehead a little with the tips of her fingers.

It's not until he's an arm's length away that he fully stops again, considering her and stretched like an exploring cat, eyes shining in the sun and face calmly blank.

Eyes still curious, she looks at him. She's really in no mood to put up any sort of fight - but she can't really help it. She's upset and now bewildered, unsure of what this guy was all about.
"Uh, are you stalking me or something?" Her voice is raspy, raw - unlike the vibrancy it held in their last encounter. Everything from her tone to her body language indicates that something isn't right with her; especially not in comparison with how she was in Saffron. "I'm sure you can find someone better to follow, you know."

He had jumped from tree to tree near the crowded areas of the city but soon reached where it became more spaceous with just trees and benches.
Something had picked up his attention though. There was a girl, sitting underneath a tree and a Vaporeon near by. He hung upside down from this particular tree, watching them both. If she were to open her eyes and look up, she would notice that there was a man, hanging there above her almost perfectly still with an Ariados at his feet.

The sight above her takes her completely by surprise. Whether it's because Koga, of all the people in the world was hanging above her head. With an Ariados. An Ariados.
Completely terrified by the Bug Pokemon, she lets out a horrified squeal. "A-AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" She jumps back a little, causing Hahani to open his eyes and look up curiously at Koga and Ariados.
"Wh-what are you...?! Do you always just hang out in trees where people are sitting Omigod..." Flustered and a bit speechless, she tries to address her feelings without being disrespectful. After all, Koga was a member of the Elite Four. She had nothing but respect for him, but he's completely freaking her out right now.

For a moment, he just looked at the completely spooked out Katie. Then he chuckled as he expected such a high pitched squeal and covered his ears. Ariados sounded like it was chuckling as well, though one could never really tell.
Koga did a backflip from the tree and landed effortless on the ground, on his feet in front of Katie, then bowed.
"Pardon my behaviour, I find amusement in scaring trainers who pass this way to see their reactions."
Ariados lowered itself down from the tree by a thread and onto the ground. It then skittered across to its master where it stood beside him respectfully.
"Due to the proximity of this area to the forest, many trainers often have a variety of bug Pokemon drop onto their heads. Their response to such unexpected events tells me a lot about them."
