That we somehow get actual creative work done while I spend my time being this sort of idiot (pretty much every email I send her has bullshit like this in it) is astounding.

My dad always used to say "You can't con a con!" Well, in this case... EVERYONE cons Jack. The better Jack likes you, the easier it is to con him.

I suspect this kind of silliness actually contributes to getting creative work done. It's practically research.
