*scratches head* I never thought about that but it's true. Maybe it's because he DID imprison the halflings? I never saw him as such.

And I have to agree: as much as love Erestor, I've had enough fic on him. I'm not in the right mood to write fic but I would probably write one on...well, I should probably finish writing what I had. I had a Thranduil/Elrond and Celebrimbor/OMC.

Actually, I'd like to see a fic on either Celebrimbor or Curufin...preferably one that isn't mine.

But it's like, what did people expect him to do be all, "Why, yes, it is perfectly fine for you to walk into my realm, scare my people, try to steal our food and then not tell us anything. Why would we ever find a reason to hold you prisoner?" Yeah, I know, too much political history in my mind ( ... )

*laughs* You make me want to finish my Celebrimbor/OMC...which I probably should anyway. I loved that character. His life was so tragic.

Maybe a bit too tragic but that was life during the First, Second, and Third Ages.

I will now e-mail you part of it and see what you make of it.

I welcome it with open arms and eager eyes.

Re: Celebrimbor's tragic life, which it so was. But see, the good thing about elves are. They get Re-born, we think, so even if life on Arda is tragic I always hold out hope for an eventual happy ending in Aman. At least that's what I tell myself.
