I just booked tickets to Brisbane for OzBurn! I think this is the first time I've ever used airpoints for anything substantial...

I've managed two "free" trips to Australia out of airports, one including business class in one of the directions. (One was truly pay-no-money-just-points, and the other had enough random charges tacked on to make it merely a cheap flight.) It does feel vindicating for all the effort of collecting them though.

Wow, that shows me why I should proof-read more carefully. All references to "airports" in the previous comment should be "airpoints". Clearly my fingers like the word "airports" more :-)
