Great. Stuck here with no way back-- and a bruised arm to boot-- and the stupid cat was the only company he had, aside from hundreds of strangers he didn't care to converse with without absolutely needing to. Cats. He hated them. Useless creatures. Unintelligent. Inconsiderate. Useless.
Yuki could only think of trying to figure out how best to spend his time before he could get off this island. He'd inquired about getting in contact with his relatives and friends in Japan, but there were no phones, no computers, no anything. No contact with the outside world whatsoever. He could only imagine how Hondasan was dealing without both of them there ... and how Akito would respond to his sudden disappearance
( ... )
Kyo growled slightly as he spotted Yuki. It was fairly easy seeing as he stuck out almost as bad as he did. Kyo's pase steadied as he walked towards him. What was his plan? He knew lashing out here would only get his ass kicked, even if he would never admit it.
Kyo was almost happy to see Yuki, no, what the hell was he thinking?? This place was making him go crazy. That had to be it, right? "You ass!" he finally said as he got close enough to throw a quick punch towards Yuki's face. If it hit he would be amazed, but he still put all his force behind it.
[OOC: Augh, me too. I didn't get notification at all about your post, and work's made me super exhausted. Please forgive me. ;-;]
The punch was easily dodged, and Yuki threw a swift uppercut toward Kyo's chin. Nice greeting, but he hadn't expected any less from the stupid cat. "So eager to get yourself into trouble?" He asked. "Figures you'd be more concerned with trying to one-up me than with trying to find out what's going on.
For the first time in awhile Kyo was ready for what Yuki pulled, it was if it had played over and over in his head before. He quickly pushed back away from the rat, the fist just skimming his cheek. As he landed on his feet he rubbed his fist against his nose in disgust.
"I would rather not know!" He said as he looked away. "Like I care where I am.. It's not like we're going home any time soon." Kyo cringed slightly at the thought. But with so many people who had all said the same thing, Kyo finally accepted the fact.
After landing something of a blow to Kyo's cheek, Yuki's will to fight quickly diminished. He wasn't going to throw any more punches unless the other insisted on faceplanting the ground. Yuki had more important things to worry about.
Kyo was right: they weren't getting home any time soon. The others would most likely be worried about their disappearances, especially Tohru, but there was no way to contact anyone from here. He'd tried it already.
"You'd rather not know?" He laughed unkindly, rolling his eyes. "Suit yourself, then. If you don't mind, I'm going to go find some place to stay, and get some new clothes. Feel free to stay here and look like an idiot."
