I'm not used to this yet

It's weird and quiet at my house on Tuesdays and Wednesdays now. We haven't been living together all that long, but I'm not used to the nights Aaron doesn't come home yet. OTOH, I'm awfully productive these two nights a week-- and I had fabulous company over for dinner tonight.

boys, i love my friends, it's all about me me me

Wednesday night I go to a bar in Davis with some Pryanksters. You're welcome to join. Usually head out about 9 (leaving Sac between 8 and 8:30) and come home around 11 or 12 (Sac a half hour later).

Also- looking to dye my hair- any ideas how to do the least dying of the shower? It's been about 4 years, but I seem to remember that getting the shower wet beforehand is good, and that you can get some dye out of tile with bleach. Any other recommendations?

I've always found that if I sit in the bottom of the tub-shower that at least the splashies keep to the bottom 1/4-1/3 so there's less you have to (potentially) bleach-out.

That's a good idea. As a teenager I used to use a hand shower my parents had installed in the bathtub. That worked a treat! I could get my head right down near the drain and run scalding hot water through my hair and right down the drain with minimal splashage and minimal scalp burning. Not so much a possibility now. I'll give your idea a try.

My man is out of the house 1-2 night per week and sometimes more. I just treat them as my nights, when I can spread my stuff all over the house, watch whatever I like and putter or sew or knit to my heart's content.

Then he comes home and I'm super happy to see him, so everybody wins!

I hear ya. My Mr. C has classes x2/wk and I use that time to lol-about or bake or whatever I want to do that can't afford distractions. It's my secret me time, too.

And I agree about the super-happy to see'em thingie too. ^_^
