Under ordinary circumstances, David would be apologising profusely and in some alarm to the muscular American over whom he had spilt his drink, but his sense of alarm is somewhat preoccupied by the red-eyed hissing girl who precipitated the drink-spilling incident, and then the muscular American pulls out a shotgun and David is just shitting himself all around, really.

I had a real struggle with this prompt, and I suspect that it may indeed be because these two simply do not belong within a continent of each other.

"Nobody else," Charlie says, in disbelief, "would find this out and think, 'Oh, I know what I'll do: I'll go back to a day when two panel shows clashed and be on both of them'."

Is it me, or is this very Hermione Granger - time travelling to go to more classes?

...my goodness, you're right. David Mitchell is Hermione Granger. I could not have predicted this.

Congratulations! (I was thinking about you this morning, wondering whether you'd got your work in)

er, prompt... how about the one from my dream the other day which was 'Sherlock Holmes fights vampires'

"We cannot trust the evidence of our senses, Watson," my friend cried; "there must be some trickery, such creatures do not exist," but all his reason did nothing to dispel the fanged men at the door.

Hee, awesome.
I think I need to read the Sherlock Holmes stories soon but I suspect I'll be disappointed if there's nothing about Holmes fighting off vampires with a swordstick whilst pulling some spectacular kung-fu moves.

I'm surprised you haven't read them! They're not great works of literature, but they are quite good fun, especially the vampire-swordstick parts, and I adore Holmes and Watson.

Prompt: Josie Long/Sarah Millican.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with either of them to write this! Seriously, the best I'll be able to manage is 'JOSIE LONG AND SARAH MILLICAN HELD HANDS, HOORAY'. Is there anything else you'd like to see?

The other things I require at the moment are Jam and Jerusalem fic, of any stripe, and Peep Show fic which features Dobby. Either of those any good?

\o/ Lol nosy, but will you be celebrating in some shape or form?

Didn't have any real celebratory plans, although I am going to a radio recording tomorrow! (Heresy, which I've never heard but will apparently have Victoria Coren and David Mitchell, so thumbs up for that.)
