Underwhelming.  Then again, my dad's sort of issued a war on computer time lately, and I haven't been able to get my proper writing time in.

Bleh.  At least I reached 350k this month.  That's cool.

Oh, and my vacation's going well, I guess.

 So far this has kind of been an underwhelming birthday.

Yeah, it could be worse. My brother's grad party is tomorrow so the entire house is being cleaned and organized for it, and my parents let me nap instead of roping me into the undertaking.  Which is nice.

 My goal for this week is to hit 350,000 words on In The Blood.  I'm at 339,226 currently.  I think I can do it.  :D

Likewise, I am seriously TINGLING in anticipation at the chapter I get to post on Friday.  Just TINGLING.  Oh goodness.  Y'all have no idea.

Of all things, I managed to hit a solid 300,000 words exactly on May 1st, meaning I don't have to do much work!

Total wordcount for the month of May, then - 32,164!  All for In The Blood.

Decent, but not my best work.  I blame finals week and ACEN getting my productivity down.  June will be better!!

A little piece I did for my final project in one of my classes.  I was given the option of writing a short story on a poem read in class. I chose to reinterpret Yeats' "Leda and the Swan."
