Okay so Ewan and I rewatched Harry Potter OOTP on TV last night, whilst I was writing reports and we both decided it sucked.

Then we watched Patrick Stewart's "star in a reasonably priced car" lap on Top Gear and we had an idea on how to improve Harry Potter.

the OOTP movie annoys me because i think they fucked up sirius' death scene. it was so terribly bland. It didn't have any pathos at ALL. And would it have killed remus to look a little more broken up about it? bah.

I totally agree with you.

Sirius was my favourite character, in the movie I felt nothing in that scene. In the book I was in tears, a mess.
I can't believe J.K. let the movie out like that...I'd be calling for them to remake that scene!

EXACTLY. I felt NOTHING in that part. And I should have felt a whole bloody lot.

it was like an emotional vacuum. props to radcliffe, he did wonderfully. But the way it was shot/it panned out, i was left terribly cold.
