Recently reacquainting myself with Laibach's highly variant cover versions of the Rolling Stones classic song Sympathy for the Devil, I was quite surprised to learn--via Wikipedia, admittedly, but Salon backs it up--that Jagger was inspired by Bulgakov.

I find the talkie intro bit on the main Laibach version a bit irritating, it stops me from enjoying this song as much as 'Live Is Life', say.

Laibach came to Dublin a couple of years ago, to play a concert that was in some sense celebrating Slovenia's accession to the EU. They were awesome.
