Peter had had a rather busy week. Luckily on Thursday he didn't have any classes, which allowed him to kick back in his room and relax with the latest 9th Wonders.

While nice to hear, Isabel had a feeling there was a story behind the message Peter had left for her. So after class on Thursday, she pulled out her phone and dialed Peter's number.

"That's the one nice thing about not keeping secrets any longer," she said happily. "My folks have heard all the stories about Fandom. So after a few minutes of boggling, they were fine with it. But I'll admit they were relieved that we were back to normal on Saturday morning."

Isabel remembered her own feelings this time last year and completely understood. "Don't worry. The real world isn't that scary a place. And the weird little touches of Fandom that turn up every once in a while keep things interesting."

"I'm going to be at graduation," she promised. "With weapons and popcorn for the epic battle."
