Someone linked the Official Movie Guide to the Summer of 2008 in their journal and OH MY GOD, THERE'S A NEW MUMMY MOVIE COMING OUT IN AUGUST!!!!!!! The trailer isn't available yet, but Fraser and them look like they'll be back (of course) and JET LI IS ALSO IN IT

I don't think I'll be watching it since they replaced the actress who plays Evie. Apparently she thought the script was stupid.

So, um, more than a year later, here's a reply!

Actually, Tomb of the Dragon Emperor was a lot better than I was expecting it to be. I'd buy the DVD if I could afford it, though honestly, I'm waiting for The Mummy 3-Pack that has The Mummy, the Mummy Returns, and Tomb of the Dragon Emperor all in one box.

I did miss the original Evie, though. I don't know about how she thought about the script, but she *was* doing like four other movies at the same time, so she might have just been too busy.
