I WANT TO HUG HIM SO MUCH <333 Oh, Remus. I love your vivid descriptions of his surroundings, the rain and the cold and the wind, vs. the very vague ghostly presence of Sirius, who -- you didn't turn to the supernatural aspect of him at all, which is awesome because this is like the version of how it would happen if it were real. Or, well, as real as HP canon gets :-) And then along with that there's the slightly creepy element of Remus actually actively talking to himself, like he really is beginning to lose his act, which I also love, because he's in such a bad place right now.

“Charmed. Yes, well.” It would be a joke if it weren’t so horrific. The Muggle world has always thought of charms as lucky things, auspicious and fortuitous. He knows better.

I love this line. And also the line about his boiling rage. And yeah, I really wanna hug him

I read the two fic back-to-back, and I love what you've done with this. How you've taken the dialogue and made it a monologue, how you've taken a visitation and made it speculation. How Remus is very definitely losing it - and the hopeful ending is only hopeful until it sinks in that Remus really is losing it, and being himself at this point isn't going to get him very far at all.
