Oh, I love the ending. I love the whole thing, but the ending just captures so much about Sam for me.

oh, so nice. So sad and so nice and the images of little Sammy not wanting a puppy as much as he wants Dean makes my heart hitch.

Wow, I loved that! I never read the original, so I'm gonna have to go and read that too. But this was awesome, I loved it! Seriously great stuff.
