The premere of the movie will be very soon. I am eager to see how it all came together. I am glad it is over though. I think for now, I'll just focus on what's important to me. Seiichi, Tennis, my music.

We are almost done filming the movie. There are just a few more scenes to go. I look forward to being done with it. Though it makes me miss kendo. I miss it as much as I miss tennis. I need to go out and practice. In fact, I think I'll do that right now.

I don't know how they knew, but it was my birthday today and I ended up getting flodded with well wishes from fangirls. I suppose I need to do something to thank them. Maybe I'll dedicate my next song to them.

Costumes....I want to keep mine

Today, on the movie set, after we did a full read through of the script, we all got fitted for our costumes. Mine is on a tailor dummy because they need to make it larger across the chest and back and around the arms, if not they say my muscles will rip though the fabric when I do any of my sword work.

I made it to the second round of auditions. They want me to bring my Kendo gear and have me have a bout. I have told them I am already 4th Dan. This summer I should be having my examination for the 5th Dan. However, they still want to see for themselves my level of skill. They also asked if I have my own katana. I do. I finally found the box I store my hakama and gi in. They will prove useful. Not only for the LIVE, but also for something professional that is coming up. There has been a open call for men my age to play a part in some sort of traditional series. I might give it a shot. The auditions are not until the 19, so wish me luck ( Read more... )
