awww isnt he darling! with a squirrel do you get them lapping from a bowl or use a bottle and teat?

I'm australian so dont get a chance to raise squirrels, just lots of possums and other marsupials and they differ in feeding style ie: ringtails lap, brushtails suckle from a teat, bandicoots lap

I've always used a needle-less syringe with a silicone nipple.

we use those for very tiny pinky possums etc when they aspirate their milk when feeding with a bottle and teat. It means you can regulate milk output so they dont inhale it :)

What other stuff have you raised? do you do opossums?

volunteering for my local wildlife center in highschool was by far my favorite "job". I absolutely adored taking care of the baby squirrels who would sit on my shoulder and make a nest with my hair while drinking a bottle.
