Maru is the leader. He is the leader. I love the concept of Kame being a mimic and how that alone makes him a good right hand. Idk whether it's flattering or not, but it feels coherent. Like this comment, that is not. There's something about Kame being the one to reject Jin that always gets me all asjdhakd. Nakamarad ♥

Another thing is that I love AUs that are so close to RL in the alternate settings. And this was wonderful in doing that.

Sasha. fierce. :||||

OMG. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE ROOM SCENES IS WONDERFUL. OMG.

So.. Ran is also a talent?! OMG.

"I asked him about it once. He said he thinks it's weirder to be moving as a woman when he's not one." >> Junno is such a straight guy. I love him ( ... )

Of course Maru's the leader. Beatboxing, you know? He runs in this world.

I do love the first advance being Jin's, and Kame not being ready, and it taking them longer because of that. I really do. <3

Sasha's a talent, Ran's a talent. (Kame goes for talents, though I think he probably wouldn't want to be pushed the way Sasha likes from her guys.)

Junno finds it weird being so short if he tries syncing with women. It's also weird being Ryo for that same reason, though Ryo didn't like hearing this.

How Kame, Ran and Jelly work could be its own story. And, yeah, Kame choosing names for people, not so imaginative, is he? Not that he *has* dogs named Ran and Jelly in this universe, which would be even more creepy.

Thanks so much for this comment. ♥

This is a really good story and a very intriguing verse. I absolutely love how you wove in the audition canon, and their first meeting was very vivid, with Jin that mix of cheeky and puppy-like that I can totally see for that period ( ... )

Uh. Basically everything that Jo said - unfortunately we have lots of the same buttons, so once I read her comment I felt like I'd just be repeating everything.

I really, really like this, it was interesting and intense throughout, with so many hints and references to canon... I love that shit! I'd have liked a bit more Akame in it (but hey, don't all Akame fans say that?) but otoh I also felt that the outside relationships were really well done. Loved the Ran & Jelly thing, and that they had their own thing going. That whole business about syncing and the ethics and restrictions really turns my crank anyway.

Oh, and I really hope there's going to be a DB DVD, because you could totally use what Kame does with his dancers in Lost My Way!
