Distract me plz. Am downloading 512 today and have a big ole fat elephant of sad sitting on my chest. Because there's only one more -- ONE MORE -- ep of my gay show after this and yada yada angstcakes life over. What matters here is I'm sad like whoa. Way back a billion years ago, QAF was broadcast in the middle of the night on Saturdays (around midnight-1am) on regular cable (this is in Israel). Now, since our week works differently, Sunday is a work/school day. Every few weeks I would catch the end of an episode, in my parents' living room and with the volume off or very low (this was before I had a TV in my room, I guess, so it should be between Sept. 1999 (when we moved to that house) and Oct. 2000 (when I bought a TV with my first paycheck). Anyway, I kept forgetting it was on and not remembering what time it was, since I had to be up for work the next day. Then I thought of checking the listings (am slow OMG), and started watching with, I think, 202 or 203. Right after the season was done, they reran both seasons on Saturday afternoons, 4 episodes at a time. I couldn't watch all of them. A few months later, they started showing an episode a day at midnight. I stumbled on 101 by acident (I watched whatever it was it replaced), and watched religiously since. I enjoy my story 'cos it's how I get into most TV shows (at the end of its gayday), except more with the crazy devotion. I guess during season two I made to my friend the vaguest, most innocent reference to the show ("Look at this article. Gay sex on TV, ooh?") and two months later, had half of season two and some of season one on three VHS's ( ... )

OMG BUT ALSO! I just learned today that finally a German TV channel bought QaF, so there might be new fandom in the making and everything, at least for me!

Only I don't really want it to, because the dub is so going to suck (I'm still not over what they did to Lost!) and they'll probably cut scenes (sacrilegious!!!) and German fandoms usually suck and also I don't want a German QaF fandom, I want to keep our good old English one! *pouts* :(

Well, one day, I watched a music video by G'Baby, to the song "Right Kind of Wrong." It was B/J, and what really caught my eye was the 219 kiss, which was just too fucking hot to believe, and I was like omg where can I find this boykissing?! and they were like omg here qafdownloads and I ran over and downloaded and fell in LOVE. I watched the whole show through season 4 in about two weeks. This was... in March, I think.

Funny thing though... similar to your Michael/Justin mixup... from the video, I THOUGHT BRIAN BASHED JUSTIN asdlfkjahemsvadkj!!! I thought that's why he was "wrong" for Justin!!! But I didn't place too much stock in that assumption and quickly realized it was wrong once I started watching, but STILL.

Good story, neh?
