I know what you mean! The other day someone asked for a fic and I was not sure about the description, but decided to check it out anyway. And then I get to mclachlan's livejournal and I was WHY HAVEN"T I READ EVERYTHING HERE BEFORE! It's weird because I had read "counting blue cars" and some stand-alones but not all. I had a great reading night!

EDIT: just saw that this was the one you were talking about!
The description really was not doing justice to the fic!

Ahahahaha, I've had similar experiences with sgastoryfinders: you read a request, laugh at the badficcy scenario, then realize you've read and loved that story and it's not even a badficcer's lucky shot or anything.

ADKFJAL IDEK BUT GUUUUH. Andrew emotes (and bleeds) so deliciously. And it's been days and I'm still obsessed with Gwen's boots. OMG WANT. IT WAS IT WAS!!! :DDDD I was hella hopeful it would be that awesome, but kept having to remind myself not to go in with TOO high of expectation. I needn't have worried!

Life would be so boring without GIH. True story!
