Flatmate RANT. Be warned

So, i get back from a 3-day trip and am greeted by a PILE of dishes, 2 days old. Why? coz apparently the maid decided to skip town, which resulted in EVERY utensil being dirtied (by flatmate)!
So, in order for me to have a cup of tea, i had to dig through the crud-lined dishes, excavate the tea-vessel, wash it and go about my business. or ( Read more... )

Oh my god! This just cracks me up. Our roommate is quite clean relatively, but one thing that annoys me about her is that she refuses to put back the dried dishes. They are always lying out. But yes, she is definitely cleaner than most people mentioned around!! :D
*hugs to you*
I think you should have a nice chat with ur roomie and ask her to be clean. I seriously cant imagine how people can be SO dirty... gross. Uggh.

"nice chat" has happend before as well. i'm assuming she doesn't have amnesia, or worse, alzheimer's!
and anyway, i'm too disgusted to do the "lets keep the kitchen clean" talk AGAIN!
for now, communicating through post-it notes works just fine. she left me one this morning asking me to pay the electricity bill!
YAY for Post-Its!

It happens not just with gals, even with Boys also.
The only option is either you continue live with them or make it on your own, no other option until you get a good companion.

Yeah -- I was one of the couple of friends too.

Don't get what you wanna achieve out of this. If I have an issue with flatmates, I tell it to them straight to their face -- I don't do this: keep mum about it and then go blab about it to my online friends.

I am sorry for the mess we created (we are a messy bunch), but really think this is an extremely immature way of dealing with the problem.

:) like i said... i've talked about this "issue" before. and i'm tired about talking about it repeatedly.

and "peace" in quotes. i don't have issues with any of you guys.

blab about it to my online friends... this is an extremely immature way of dealing with the problem. :) ok.

It's good to be Monica... I know, I am one! I drive my family crazy with my mania for cleanliness and always wonder how mad I'll get if I ever live with roomates one day...

Heh.
