So, i get back from a 3-day trip and am greeted by a PILE of dishes, 2 days old. Why? coz apparently the maid decided to skip town, which resulted in EVERY utensil being dirtied (by flatmate)!
So, in order for me to have a cup of tea, i had to dig through the crud-lined dishes, excavate the tea-vessel, wash it and go about my business. or ( Read more... )

i am paranoid about cleanliness (gawd..how many people have i heard saying this !) but this thing with room-mates i think would be best tackled when you try a silent cleanliness drive..show her when she is there..(a soft,subltle but a cunning way of putting things across the way you want to) ..

May be try doing everything once, even hers and specially when it would matter the most..if the person is dignified enough..the signals would hit the right place!!
(setting an example works the best, the more we clash..the messier it becomes!)

I dont think i can tolerate mess even if its somebody else's if i stay around!

The world has to ..has to look a cleaner place! ;)

And what if the person is not dignified enough?
Or she is never around to notice the mess in the room or for the mess to bother her that much?

My ex roomie was a chronic farter. And nose cleaner. I kicked him out. You can't touch this!! MWAHAHAHAHA :D

I've spend the last 30 minutes cleaning out my housemates fridge! (one I technically share with her) and omg... the stuff i found.ewwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Gross green mouldy stuff all solidified together.I've actually put the container in boiling water to "purify" it.
and and Salad dressing of different kinds dating back to 2001.I mean OMG, that's just wrong.
I think I've just been put off food forever.:(.

Please people, you don't have to be a neat freak, but do clean out your fridge every week!!!...at least!.

lol! you WIN! *giggles* although, i had to boil my wooden spoons to disinfect/"purify" them as well. The SMELL! God! yetch!
