It's almost like a game; waking up every morning to see if you haven't or have been cursed. It's a game the City seems amused by.

The cold is coming soon. I wonder how we're going to protect Cheza's garden.

I understand that, but Cheza doesn't like to see them die. And I don't like to see her sad.

She has, but she's a plant herself in a way. Wouldn't it make you sad to see your kind wither away too, even if you knew that they'd come back eventually?
