My eyes are doing backflips trying to read that note. At least they were until I gave up.

12 o'clock midnight - Coo-ee and 5 rounds rapid fire on Turk trenches.
2 am Shell fire opens - Turk volley persistent.
4 am. Lucky escape. Bullet occupies spot I was on moment before
firing @ 350 yards, very heavy fire.
Relieved at 9 am. Red Day.

ooh, a family name. On my side we have Alfred and vars on Rose, and most recently Marcelino. On Jorge's side it is all Jorge A---stuff, like his Dad is Jorge Antonio. Hopefully we get a boy and call him Jorge Angel, but girls names I get to choose. ha. Anyway, family names are fun to keep going, Jack is a good name. Goes well with Hall.
