So MCR is playing Birmingham and not New Orleans. (At least not yet).

Seriously? I mean, the concert at Sloss Furnace would be cool and I can work with Birmingham, even if it *is* inconveniently on a WEDNESDAY, thus making it very difficult for people to go WITH ME. I'd prefer NOLA. Do I hold out for NOLA? WHY ARE THEY SO COMPLICATED?

They'd be cool at Sloss Furnace for real. The presale is tomorrow. Maybe I'll just get tickets and then, if they end up playing NOLA I'll go to both. Because who am I kidding? I'm buying tickets tomorrow.

By early May I should be in Birmingham? I guess! I want to hear from grad schools now so I can make concrete plans!!!

(I have not heard anything. I am anxious).

But anyway, MCR is playing Sloss Furnace on April 30th and I will probably come up for that, especially if they don't play NOLA at all. So I will be there then at least? And I will probably have quit my job by then. When I have concrete plans I will definitely let you guys know. Hopefully it will be soon.

Joined. The catch-22 is, of course, that in order for the community to be helpeful, my computer has to be working well enough for me to get to the internet - or at least I have to not be incapacitated by whatever issue I am having.

I really need to be more computer savvy than I am.
