Did you miss me? I got home a couple of hours ago, when we finally landed after circling New Orleans for an hour because we couldn't land in the middle of the rain storm. And then executorvs was very persuasive in his argument that I had to go watch Dr. Who RIGHT THEN NOW TONIGHT, so I did that and it turned into an impromptu Dr. Who and Farscape party,

The finale this weekend is being shown at the London Gay Pride Festival so I am hoping and praying for just a little Jack/Ten kiss! I'd be happy with that! Any more would be a crazy expectation but a leetle kiss? That I can hope for! I second you in the call for fic. Where is all the Jack/Ten? I don't get it. I want more!

I don't get it either. I expected Ten/Jack to be popular. I expected to be deluged with fic. I guess it sort of makes sense, considering that Ten and Jack had never met in canon until this episode, but still. It is so awesome in theory and there is such potential for angst! I bet we get a bunch of it now, though. That will be good.

Also, OH GOD *squishes Dean to bosom* Oddly enough, "What is and what should never be" inspired a freakout over how I need to be helping society and I can't spend a week doing nothing and I think I might have to do summer school. Yes, Dean Winchester is acting as the voice of my calling. I know. I'm a fucking geek. And am addicted to lost causes. And am ranting at your post, so I think I'll move on to the final two episodes and my notes for next year's curriculum.

Glad you're back, but ouch! on the burn. Do you have some aloe? IIRC, there's a sunburn reliever that's aloe in gel form, and is very soothing.

You might also want to take a tylenol for the pain if it gets really uncomfortable.

I've got some aloe vera lotion, and it works alright. The burn is actually fading faster than I expected. I just wish I'd thought to reapply sunscreen at any point.

It's just uncomfortable and I'm kind of kicking myself for not reapplying sunscreen. It should be fine in a couple of days.
