I'm arbitrarily using emo song lyrics as journal entry titles because that song has been stuck in my head all day. I don't know what that means.
sumkindahate used to accuse me of being emo for (apparently, according to her) having emo hair and glasses. I also have cowboy boots and lots of bright pink, so I'm not convinced that's an accurate assessment.

Sikozu's motivations were always a little jacked up but yeah, her sudden turn as the traitor wasn't well-handled, even though we were shown an unrealized reality where she was a traitor (and I'm pretty sure it was intended to cite Sikozu's darker character when she hisses weak species at John at the beginning of Bad Timing, recalling her line in Unrealized Realities).
When you are less tired, I would be interested in reading your meta post.
But my mind is a scary narrative - a voice that never shuts up and is far too active for its own good.

as much as D'Argo's death sucks, it had to happen, it's the moment that gets everyone at a point where they think that John should unleash the wormhole weapon, it kicks up the emotions so to speak. It does kick the emotion up. My gut reaction to it has always been that it's the point where they're going "well to be sufficiently dramatic we have to kill somebody," which maybe isn't fair because they did need more of a catalyst. It was just my initial reaction the first time I watched it, and I've never been able to quite shake it. They're so screwed (heh) and out of options already. I've never really thought of that as the turning point, though. Huh. You may be right ( ... )
