Teague and Jack would be fabulous politicians - I would vote for them and then the world would be super awesome because imagine what crazy pirates could do if elected to office :P
"A non-answer. It should not surprise her, not when he and Jack are so obviously cut from the same cloth."
Love, love and love! The character of Teague is so fascinating and Keith Richards, being who he is and living how he's lived and having written the songs he's written and being the one who portrays him just helps the imagination so much, doesn't it? :)
Teague is a fascinating character in his own right, but Keith Richards adds such unbelievable depth: you've put it perfectly. The life he's lived and the songs he's written and the man he is just add so much Teague - it makes him even more mysterious and awesome :)

Thank you! I think sparrows_swan hit the nail on the head when she described this story as a Disney fairy tale in reverse: a darker retelling of the original. I've been trying to gradually steer away from the angst, but it just keeps coming back. Hopefully it will continue to be beautiful :)

His grin is wry, curving around the stem of his pipe. “Done a lot of living in my time, dear King.”
