Along the lines of being one of those boring couples I wrote about, we have been having "Old Hollywood Nights" - watching classic movies since we have never before expressed an interest in any DVD over 2 years old. i thought pieces of april was better than i thought it'd be. i really like derek luke as an actor. and american graffiti - wasn't that the basis for happy days?

if you get a chance, you should check out some of the marx brothers' movies!
duck soup (the mirror scene is priceless) and horse feathers are among some of my favorites.

This totally goes against my 'can't watch movies with dead actors' rule. Something about the fact that they're so vibrant and lively on screen, but dead in real life weirds me out. Maybe I'm just not a fan of momento mori.
