I went out into my garden this morning (and how much do I love being able to say *that*:-) ) to check on my green growing things. In the fall I took a huge batch of leaves and covered the whole thing with them to insulate the roots and bulbs through Victoria's generally warm, but occasionally erratic winter weather. My foresight has proven well
