So, like I haven't had a lot of luck in the past, but, well, i got another offer yesterday; job offer that is! :) -- I got an offer for some shifts working at Silvertop last night. I'm yet to call her back but I don't think i'll be able to take them up as they're afternoon/evening shifts. I wouldn't mind if some of the rotating shifts ended at like

Lucky you, getting all these job offers, but then you probably haven't gone through ten years of fruitless job-hunting, as I have: I admit that I'm feeling more and more discouraged and more and more pessimistic about ever getting a paid job, but at least I have voluntary work while I wait and hope. You didn't tell us exactly what this job you were just offered involved, you only said that it was shift work, so please let us know what the job will involve. However, if you feel it's unsuitable, for whatever reason, I hope you won't be forced to take it. All the best for your job-hunting!

Thanks Clare! Silvertop is a taxi company here in Melbourne. Just not interested in doing night shift though. No, I wouldn't be forced to take it; it's just a shame there's no option for a 9 to 5 type thing.
