Today I had to see my 14 year old chocolate labrador Ellie off to the Rainbow Bridge. I inherited her from my sister and did my best for her I take comfort from thinking she's running about with Giannina now. She's worth a few tears

I'll miss her every time I have a few days with you. But just remember - fourteen is a good age for a labrador. You looked after her well.

I'm sorry to hear about Ellie it's hard saying goodbye to a beloved companion.
I worry about Timmy.
Ellie has gone over the Rainbow Bridge. She has been reunited with those she loves. It's always harder on those left behind. Hugs. xx

I'm so sorry to hear this (and sorry too to be so late responding). Julian Clary had it right when he put the lifespan of dogs into room 101. It's the worst thing about loving our animals, yet we wouldn't miss a moment of the time we spent with them. Take a virtual hug and take good care. XXX
