Wow! Great capture of a great tour.

In fact, reading it I too drove from San Diego to Phoenix to Grand Canyon to Meteor Crater to Indian restaurants [could only watch you all eat 'coz physically am at my desk still :( ] and to Phoenix and felt the jerk of encounters with the cops :P

Am adding it to my memories :)

I had a similar long drive trip to crater lake and highway 101. Only difference is I was alone throughout the trip. It was for "soul searching" :|
It was a totally unplanned trip, just woke up and knew I have three days to go and packed some stuff and drove off, it was amazing. One thing I learned is its not easy to drive all alone. Especially while coming back I took the 101 scenic byway, its not a freeway and its not like put the cruise control and relax. There were different conditions, one which was very frightening was driving down the mountains with heavy rain and extreme visibility conditions, I was like how small I am in the nature, driving in the valley with mountains soaring up on your sides and heavy rains trying to threaten you.
Its the most undocumented trip I've ever done.

Yeah, its good to have a company while driving, atleast to make sure that you dont doze off while driving.. :)

Hoon, driving in 101 is good for only a short distance, after which it becomes irritating cos you cant move fast..

Isn't it time to document it? :)
