You're right, Steve *is* awfully cute when he's sick. I love that Danny can keep the banter going all on his own when Steve isn't up to it. ;)

Great job! Really liked this! Clingy cuddly Steve is adorable, as is a nurturing Danny. I chuckled as Danny began throwing more and more endearments into his conversations with Steve, practically without his awareness, especially the "you're lucky I love you."

And boy, Steve doesn't waste any time, does he?

Thank you very much! Yeah, Danny worked his way up to it, but Steve is Steve, and I think once he's made up his mind about something he just plunges in head first. :)

Aww,I loved poor sick,clingy Steve and nurturing,loving Danny.I liked that you had Danny being funny and bantering with Steve,but also had him understand some of the reasons Steve doesn't want to be alone and needs to keep moving.
I thought it was so sweet that Danny couldn't stop himself from cuddling and saying "terms of endearment" to Steve without realizing it and I loved Steve's response. That was very romantic-even with the calomine lotion and Steve with the rash all over him!

I know absolutely nothing about Hawaii 5-0, aside from vague recollections of the original series, but I adore h/c and this is absolutely masterful. The banter is stellar and even made moreso when you realize that it's so very one-sided as Steve is out of it for most of the story. Great work!

I never watched the original series, but I do love the banter in the new series. Glad you enjoyed the story!
