School just started. Been studyin' it up a week before that. Got two tests in a week (one which includes math calculations >_<) and lots of reading to do.
And I have written over 10,000 words of fiction during that time.

About to start a new semester, finally beginning to take classes in my major, and I should be excited/stoked/ready to conquer, but I'm just tired. And depressed. And anxious out of my mind that since Tank looked "off" when I put him to bed that I'm going to wake up tomorrow and find him dead.

Every time I close my eyes I can see Jeb Stuart on that hill not a hundred yards from where we were. It was so hard losing Mac. But losing Jeb to such a senseless accident is about more than I can bear. -
Gintama
After resisting, I have fallen pray to the coolness of Gintama. I was like "haha, this is good" at first, but then episode 18 came. It owned my soul. -
Yard Work

By the way
I had to post about Japan before logging off, because my heart goes out to them. I can't imagine the magnitude of emotions the survivors are going through right now. My prayers are with them, but I so wish that I could do something tangible, as well *alongside* side them and with them instead of being half a world away and divorced from it all. -

So, last week was spring break and my fam and I went to the Parthenon. Yeah, the one in Nashville, TN. Although it's really, really odd (I mean, it's Tennessee--and I say this with love) but it was pretty sweet and is apparently the only life-size replica in the world. O_O ( Read more... ) -
Blah-ness
Well, the Lord got me through last week. I don't know how, but He did (and I'm kind of grateful, haha). Last week was studying intensive-oh-my-goodness-i'm-going-to-go-crazy week. I got through the lecture exam, although it wasn't pretty at *all,* and I also got through the early Lab practical which went slightly better. So now I'm officially on ( Read more... ) -

In short, the Cardio system is all kinds of O_O and -_- and :O and >_<. Amazing, oh yes, but wow. Next Thursday and Friday are going to be killers. But then it's Spring break so it's okay. :) To add to the stress, though, is the knowledge that acceptance letters (to, like, Nursing School) will be sent out next week ( Read more... )
