Uh "3/3 majority vote for a state budget"? Yeah, it feels that way sometimes!

Re 20/27, IMO one of the state's main problems is polarization of our "representatives" => value of reducing safe districts far outweighs minor proportional differences in the makeup of the commission. Now whether 20 can actually accomplish this I have no idea, but am willing to try almost anything at this point.

Welcome back. :)

Sorry about your marijuana initiative. Ours in Oregon failed too. When you think about how much good it would do to legalize it, tax it, and STOP PUTTING PEOPLE IN JAIL for something LESS DANGEROUS THAN CIGARETTES... it makes me wanna strangle someone.

Maybe John Boehner. I hear he seriously needs a good strangling...

*SIGH*

I wanna do-over of the last two years, minus the Senate's asinine filibuster rule... THEN let's see how 2010 looks, and how the voting goes...

I heard our pro-marijuana dudes are gonna re-file for 2012. Maybe they'll fix up the sub-optimal regulations that so many people didn't like, and the youth vote will turn out, and it could pass....

As for the reddening of America, aieeeeee, don't get me started! :(
