Is this Torchverse or slightly after? What's going on? I demand details because that moment of cuteness and HIS THOUGHT PROCESS nearly made me melt into a gooey puddle.

No, this isn't Torchverse; I have no idea what this is, to be totally honest. I got the prompt from Thalia and talking to Pea, was like, "So this is obviously Rei/Jade," and then went off and wrote whatever this is. I'm glad it made you melt; I was all HOW ABOUT WE GET TO THE POINT HERE, JEREMY-JEM-JADE? From what I can tell, it's some 'verse where everyone's a couple of years into college, Kunz and Mina have already hooked up, Rei and Mina are roomates, Jade and Kunz are roommates and childhood friends, and Jade studies music. No clue what the hell else is going on with anyone else.
About the only Torchverse detail there is that I borrowed "Carmen" as a name from it. So if you ever wanted that one answered...there it is.
Brazilian amethysts. If I'm remembering right, they are the highest quality of amethysts one can get. And those are her eyes, to him.
