So Kill Bill. I dont remember which movie before kill bill made me want to go back and wtach it again. Kill Bill didn't change the face of cinema but once again proved that tarantino is an eccentric genius on crack. What he gave us is a movie shot, cut and scored like a spaghetti western but its about an east asian culture. He pays his dues to the kung fu movie stars of the 70s by not only making a movie about them but also casting most of them like sonny chiba and ofcourse david carradine. Tarantino uses two languages to set the tones of the movie and also constantly toggles them for polar effects. Who would think of using anime in a feature length hollywood production to make the film riveting and intense! Kill Bill should be watched for Tarantino is nothing else. eccentric and brilliant

It's bloody incredible. I think this might be the film that he's remembered for a couple of decades from now.. stylistic brilliance.. I freaked over the black and white sequence.. the lighting as she hacks off the arms is mindblowing.. he's done some insanely amazing camera bits throughout the film..

he rules.

Yeah "bloody" incredible is what it is. I think films like the fifth element are stylistically brilliant. too bad they arent remembered becuase it was average cinema besides being a visual feast. Kill Bill can meet the same end too if the second volume isnt good, because that would take so much away from Volume 1. I cant wait!

The way he uses sound (music, effects) is too bloody amazing for words. redefines it's context. always. [examples pop ceaselessly into mind: If Love Is A Red Dress from Pulp.. and Stuck In The Middle in ...Dogs most notable to me.]
