Glee!fic, Unscripted: Symptoms

Nov 20, 2011 21:39

I went looking for stuff halfway close to finishing and found this, woo. Currently typing in Word before I can install Works in the morning. Not happy about this. At all. No-one likes change ;_;

Symptoms, a short(ish) from the Unscripted universe. Guess what! We timejumped again. I will be writing that wedding, I'm currently waiting for some canon ( Read more... )

I'm going to comment orderly..ly. :D

I love chicken sweetcorn soup. Since a child. Ah~
I have cartoons in my head of Blaine shaking a brain in a jar and yelling Kurt? I love you Kurt! and Kurt is off to the side looking like he's reminding himself that he knew he was getting himself into this when he married him. Heee.
And Blaine, not knowing when someone has a crush on him, and then makes it worse when really he's trying to make it better and oh. Puppy failing.
Janek is awesome. Janek is a little like Kurt-for-the-workplace, someone to keep his head screwed on.
Aaaaand. Favourite line: Love is knowing love when you see it, and not resenting it.

I woke up to this! And I didn't have to go to uni. Yay for reading fic in bed, with a cat over my legs ^^

As a vegetarian, I sort of do miss chicken sweetcorn soup. It is, however, very easy to find substitutes so similar they don't like to admit on the packaging that it doesn't actually contain any chicken; nowhere does it say 'vegetarian', but the 'chicken' sweetcorn noodle things I love so much have never so much as been *shown* a chicken, I have read those ingredients inside out ;) (I bet Kurt's is super-tasty though <3 ( ... )

((I want to hear boys singing adele under my window. Mostly break dancers, sometimes mimes/drama kids around here :D))

oh, I always love this 'verse, what I've read of it, and this is no exception. The story from the eyes of the nurse who's in love with Blaine, poor dear who can blame her she's got good taste, is pretty intriguing and interesting and a nice variation on this. I especially love the line "steady and sure and as familiar as a thousand mornings together"- nobody, but nobody, makes domesticity and familiarity as beautiful and sexy and wonderful as you do. Janek is interesting, you can see he's been brought up in an anti-gay environment and he doesn't think they're married because *no church* and all but he's still fine with 'em. If one has to be homophobic one should do it that way, vague and tolerant and humoured by it, unbothered. I like Janek. And that indian doctor with the immune system of steel. I don't mind your jumping around in time, I'm glad you'll write the wedding sometime but it's nice to get a glimpse of after, all domestic and familiar and home to each other even more. This is just as beautiful as always.

Janek I'm finding interesting to write; homophobic bigots are not interesting at all, but people with sure views and fairly open hearts actually are. They give me good stuff to play with, anyway ^^; I'm glad you enjoyed it honey! Thank you for reading it =)

Aww, outsider POV is always just so good!! I feel very sorry for this nurse. Recognising love in others without resenting it seems to be becoming harder and harder with every reminder that I am eternally single (and not in the fun way).

Anyway, lovely fic. Should you feel like writing a sequel where healthy-again Blaine needs to take care of sick!Kurt, go right ahead ;)

I know, my friends keep getting dates and then it's like, wtf am *I* meant to do on an evening then? (Find someone? You *must* be joking ^^;) I do find it hard to resent those two, though, I try to work some anger up and then just dissolve into inane grinning again. Hee.

I'm really glad you liked it! Possible sequel when I stop getting unseen Greek translations dumped on me out of the blue again, if that ever should happen? Until then, thank you for reading it ;)

Oh, I'd never resent Klaine either!! Just, you know, in general, it's getting harder :|

Anyway, here's to hoping all the Greek translations will pass you up from now on *selfish* xD

I know! That duet would kill all other duets in creation. Also things just sound better on the ukelele <3

Clueless!Blaine remains one of my favourite things to write, just, oh bless him ^^; Paediatrician!Blaine we are kind of heading towards, yeah - give Blaine an option of what kind of medicine he wants to practice, this one gets him access to all those kids omg. People at his own mental age to converse with! =D I actually do mean that in the best way possible ;)

Also, you are totally going to have to tell me where the fuck is, because I say and write it so often that I had literally *no idea* one had snuck in here ^^; I cuss like a sailor, I am not a classy lady, sorry. My nana would be scandalised ^^;

Now I will spend the rest of my evening listening to ukelele covers, clearly, oh my god. But I'm glad you liked it! And thank you for reading it ^^
