Okay, I have a job. It's easy and pays well, and I can work whenever I like, from home.

The problem? It involves interpreting the handwriting of children. And when they get it wrong, I have to type out the correct answers in an attractive way, with ~tags~ and annoying shit like that.

I'm starting to wonder if my salary will even cover the massive ( Read more... )

I'm sorry to randomly comment, but I was browsing around lj and came across this post. I don't mean to belittle your pain, but that sounds like a job I'd really like an opportunity to try. Is there any chance you might be able to direct me to a site where I could apply for a job like that?

(It's okay~ btw I'm mostly joking about my pain, I quite like my job so far.)

Haha, I got this job completely by accident, actually! I work for http://www.artofproblemsolving.com/ as a homework grader. Well, my official title is intern I think, but it's $15/hr so I consider it just as much of a job as working a cash register. =P (Of course if you contact them for whatever reason, please don't mention my lj lol)

I couldn't tell you how to obtain a job like this, sorry. Like I said, it was a bit of an accident. I wasn't even looking for a job but I got recommended via one of those gifted student programs, and I just took the opportunity.
