Hey, this thing has a hole in it!raidingpartyJanuary 4 2008, 21:46:59 UTC
Who dais ... said... that's pretty funny. Who said I was asleep? To be honest, I was fairly worked up after having just performed a ritual. I'm sure the Angel for the little death will visit you in the right place too, given you're in the right place to find it.
Hm. I have no idea what last year's resolutions were.

CHRISTINE (gazing trance-like around the Chapelle) Father once spoke of an angel . . . I used to dream he'd appear . . . Now as I sing, I can sense him . . . And I know he's here . . . Here in this room he calls me softly . . . somewhere inside . . . hiding . . . Somehow I know he's always with me . . . he - the unseen genius . . .
MEG Christine, you must have been dreaming . . . stories like this can't come true . . . Christine, you're talking in riddles . . . and it's not like you . . .
CHRISTINE Angel of Music! Guide and guardian! Grant to me your glory!

having just rewatched Into the Woods, with Sam, i'm being more careful with my wishes. :)
Thanks for Mad Scientist University! We finally got it out (after 1.5 years of sitting on the shelf, passed over for Catan, RoboRally, etc) last night for our regular games night, and it was well received. I have expansions I'll have to add in, now, but the base game was really cool. It was weird opening the envelopes and peeling the cards apart, because I really wanted to flip them over and read them....
Not that I blame you,raidingpartyJanuary 10 2008, 21:37:10 UTC
since I'm a fan of Catan and RoboRally myself, but when it's Mad Scientist time, you really can't beat it. Chuckles for hours on end.
We here at Mad Scientist University have been happy to provide you with a mind-expanding experience that had nothing to do with hallucinogens mixed into the ink, or mind control devices aimed towards the tracking devices in the cards. Honest.
I'll be showing up at I-Con in New York this April, and DragonCon is my regular stomping ground now, although I won't be boothing since Atlas bought the game (unless they have some sort of sinister plots of which I do not know).
Anyways, I'm glad you liked it, thanks for letting me know. It definitely swells the head warms the heart. And there was one other thing. What was it. Ohh yeahhh...
Re: Your Brains....dwivianJanuary 13 2008, 04:18:10 UTC
Mad Scientists have the best brains!
Is Atlas going to bring out the expansions, or are they in the base kit now? How do the cards differ (just 'card' versus 'card stock' feel)?
Since you're somewhat local, you'll have to visit with us sometime! Alas, we just had the big sushi night this month, but we do have regular board games on wednesday nights if you want to get out!

Careful the words you say, children will listen.
I thought my latest free will horoscope especially interesting.
Apparently the angel of the little death found you? World peace, indeed.
