I've been watching Sex in the City and it just makes me realize how glad I am that I'm not hetero.. then again, nothing's really different except for it's more confusing...

If, as Samantha says, "Men give and women recieve; it's biological," _____________then what do two girls do? both give?

If so then we luck out, it's better if both are giving! Sex and the city is an amusing show.

I was talking to a guy a few days ago who said that he felt that sex in the city was demeaning to women. Because although they have great careers they are validated by the men they are with whether emotionally or physically. I thought that was interesting.

love you.
come swimming.

i've had this debate with ashley ebb, lara, and jules.. we all pretty much decided that it was demeaning to women. They are independant women who are dependant on men.

it's not only demeaning to women it represents a very small group of women, that being straight white upper class women.

p.s. i've watched sex in the city a fair number of times so i even though it's demeaning and polerizing, it's still fucking funny. BUT at least we realize its flaws.

... so that it can't brainwash us...

.... into being straight white upper class women... well, i guess i'm already skrewed on the white part.. and i'd like to eventually be upper class.. so all i have to do is keep from being straight?
