Know how sometimes cookie recipes require you to roll out dough to, say, 1/4"? These elevate your rolling pin exactly that far (a package comes with a couple different thicknesses of bands), taking out the guesswork and uneven edges.

If you don't bake cookies, trust me that this is a tremendously useful invention.

I've never had to roll out dough to a specific thickness for bread, but ZOMFG the cookies!! I gotta find somewhere local that carries these...ideally in the next ten or so hours...
