If you haven't heard, Barry Deutsch has been nominated for the 2008 Russ Manning Award! This year, he's the only self-published creator up for the award, which is a tremendous accomplishment in itself (and, IMO, reflective of the extreme awesomeness of both Barry and Hereville: How Mirka Got Her Sword).
